Hua Hin

The name Hua Hin means 'Stone Head',

because the beaches are studded with granite boulders.

In 1911 Huan Hin became  connected to Bangkok by a 190 km rail road.

That's how Hua Hin became Thailand's first beach resort

and it is still a favorite place for Thai people.

In 1926 the King got His own 'Far-From-Worries' palace here.
