Kanchanaburi: River Kwai Bridge

The famous River Kwai Bridge is  without doubt the most visited destination in Kanchanaburi.

It is a part of the death railway to Burma, where many P.O.W died.

There also are  fine National Parks with many waterfalls like Erawan NP

and the usual elephant riding and bamboo rafting.

Sangkhlaburi

Sangkhlaburi is situated at a beautiful lake, close to the border with Myanmar.

On the border with Myanmar (Burma), 22 kilometers from Sangkhlaburi lies Three Pagodas Pass.

The three miniature pagodas are memorials of the route the Burmese troops went

during wartime in the Ayuthaya period.
